Cedar Mountain Moonshine is a family owned and operated Small-Handcrafted Distillery. A family business staying true to the roots of Moonshine in the Mountains of North Carolina.
The Distillery and Tasting Room and Gallery is located inside Studio 276 making “Shine Art”. All in the heart of Cedar Mountain, NC – home of Waterfalls and Mountain Biking.

Cape Fear Distillery
Cape Fear Distillery is in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, in the heart of the Cape Fear region between Wilmington and Fayetteville. Our craft spirits are produced in small batches using only “the hearts” of the distillation run. Since launching our first spirits in 2015, Cape Fear Distillery’s brands have won numerous national and international awards for taste and design. Although we love making spirits, we like drinking them even better! We crafted all of our spirits to be enjoyed simply over ice or neat, but we appreciate the fun of mixing a perfect cocktail with a little pizazz and creative inspiration. Fill Ye Sails with Spirit!
Great Wagon Road Distilling Company
Founded by Irish native, Oliver “Ollie” Mulligan, Great Wagon Road Distilling Co is the oldest distillery in Charlotte, North Carolina and the first one to have it’s own speakeasy attached. Although Ollie is the first in his family to make legal spirits, three generations ago in the midlands of Ireland, Ollie’s grandfather Patrick Quinn began the family tradition of whiskey making. Fast forward to 2013 after a handshake and a few pints with a mate, Ollie Mulligan established Great Wagon Road Distilling Co. to carry on his family tradition of whiskey craftsmanship.
Our purpose at Great Wagon Road Distilling Co. is to continue in this tradition of celebrating passionate independents everywhere. With each meticulous and artfully crafted spirit produced, we seek to provide a spirit worth celebrating the passion and perseverance of both the original Great Wagon Road pioneers and contemporary trailblazers alike.
Seven Jars Distillery, LLC
Our distillery utilizes family Prohibition Era recipes with modern custom distillation equipment, North Carolina grains and industry-proven yeast strains. Our grandfather, Tom, was a moonshiner that utilized his sons as bootleggers. Our father, Frank, would eventually open a nightclub where his wife originally came in to sing; five weeks later they married. In 1950, he would turn completely legal and start to build golf courses where he would place their family home. In 1975, he would share with Velma that he had buried his secrets on the golf course. You’ll have to visit Seven Jars for the rest of the story! We even share space with our own winery for you to enjoy also.
Southern Distilling Company
Southern Distilling Company was built on the American dream and is proudly reigniting North Carolina’s whiskey tradition. As one of the largest state-of-the-art distilleries in the Southeast, you’ll find us in Statesville, NC at the crossroads of I-77 and I-40.
Staying true to our roots, we designed our facilities on a 20-acre campus where we welcome guests for distillery tours, bourbon tastings, crafted cocktails, and private events.
Our business is perfected through partnerships, so we offer custom product development, co-packaging, and contract production facility. We live to create products that raise a glass to the simple joys of life together.
Southern Grace Distilleries
A bourbon distillery in a former state prison. The barrel house is a 1929 prison dorm. Tours include product tastings as well as all aspects of whsikey production and tours of solitary confinement prison cells, include a 1930s era hot box. Gift shop includes craft cocktails, apparel and good from locla mercahnts and craftspeople.
Walton’s Distillery
Walton’s distillery is a small batch distillery just outside Jacksonville, NC. We are a locally owned and operated facility specializing in the distillation and production of moonshine, whiskey, and bourbon spirits. We use a family recipe that’s been passed down through the generations for our moonshine here. Our distillery takes pride in supporting local and utilizes locally sourced grains for all our spirits as well as US made bottles and labels. We are open Monday – Saturday and hold regular tours and tastings every 30 minutes. First tour starts at 10:00 and the last tour starts at 4:00. We’d love to have everyone by to share our tradition!
