At R/Farm Distillery, we represent the Farmer’s Spirit. For farmers, harvest signifies the culmination of a job well done. For us, it also represents a new beginning. We plant, harvest and distill the corn, wheat and rye that create our signature whiskey spirits. From Field to Finish, we own the process like we have for generations – with hard work, integrity, perseverance and, most importantly, as family. Because that’s what farmers do.
Pinckney Bend Distillery
Three friends form varied backgrounds shared a passion for brewing and a spirit for entrepreneurship. Through these friends, another generation of friends, bonded from years of hospitality work, joined in the vision. Long friendships and shared passions are at the heart of our distillery. Our focus was not to built the perfect distillery, but the perfect place for each other. Pinckney Bend launched with a single product, American Gin. The historic nature of our town, the proximity to the Missouri River made it clear we had a mission larger than we thought, but our goal has always remained simple; produce premium-quality spirits by passionate people, worthy of their heritage, one small batch at a time. Fernweh Distilling Co.
Fernweh Distilling Co. began as most ventures do – a wild idea. After a year of planning, training, and a detail-oriented renovation of our historic riverfront location from 2016-2017, our wild idea finally manifested into the Fernweh Distilling Co. you see today. We take a small batch and, in some cases, single barrel approach to bourbons, whiskies, and more – all distilled and aged for those with a burning spirit for adventure. Needing a hub for our adventurous, curious-minded guests, we also established a full-service bar and restaurant with a focus on globally inspired bites and artisan cocktails. It is never a dull moment at Fernweh Distilling Co. with tastings, new product launches, special events, and unique learning opportunities!
Lifted Spirits Distillery
Located in the East Crossroads, Lifted Spirits Distillery is a Kansas City-based distillery with a fresh approach to classic spirits. Founded in 2016, Lifted Spirits tinkers with tradition to create top-tier, imaginative products using the highest-quality botanical ingredients. Tom’s Town Distilling Company
Tom’s Town Distilling Co is a craft distillery located in Kansas City’s Crossroads district. This is the first legal, downtown distillery in Kansas City since Prohibition. This locally-owned craft distillery produces vodka, 2 gins, and 2 bourbons. Tom’s Town recently launched “Thirsty’s,” a refreshing line of canned cocktails featuring 4 flavors: Elderflower Lime Gin, Lemon Gin Collins, Grapefruit Clove Gin and Strawberry Mint Vodka. Visitors will enjoy distillery tours, a tasting room with small plates and an event space accommodating up to 250 people. They have also launched a speakeasy: The Kansas City Concrete Company.
The distillery draws inspiration from the country’s most polarizing and corrupt political boss, Tom Pendergast, who controlled Kansas City in the 1920s and 1930s.
