Dry Point Distillers

Father and son Stefan and Chris Schaefer started distilling whiskey and brandy in a garage in 2014 and as their interest in fermentation and distillation grew so did the idea of Dry Point Distillers. Gaining federal and state approvals in early 2018 and opening their distillery and cocktail bar that October, a little spirits started flowing in the desert of Las Cruces. Now offering 3 whiskeys, including a native Blue Corn Bourbon as well as vodka, gins and occasional brandy, Dry Point began importing Mezcal, Sotol and Tequila to add to their regional flavors. Find their spirits in bars, package stores and restaurants throughout New Mexico. Better yet, visit their Mesilla cocktail bar for rotating specials on local beer, cocktails and boozy slushies for the hot summer days.
